Colorful Stripe Illusion by Petr Strnad overlays orange, green and yellow loops on dense horizontal marks. The repeated black-and-white pattern continues across the colored forms, producing an intricate optical surface.

Two broad curved arrangements balance the upper and lower portions of the canvas. Their brighter colors remain recognizable within the fine stripes, inviting a closer look at the interaction between pattern and shape.
