Cubic houses by Henk Langerak looks upward between tilted, angular house facades toward a star-shaped opening of sky. Windows, panels and strong diagonal edges repeat around the center, creating a striking black-and-white architectural composition in a landscape format.
The surrounding buildings form an intricate border, with light and shadow separating their different planes. The open central sky gives the eye a resting point within the dense pattern of lines and windows.
