Roundism - 31-03-20 by Corné Akkers models an abstract figure through bright curved highlights and deep shadows. Long pale forms sweep across the lower image, while more concentrated details in the upper body create a contrasting focal area.
The strong tonal transitions give the figure a polished, sculptural appearance. Alternating smooth curves and sharply divided sections keep the image poised between recognizable anatomy and a more surreal arrangement of volumes.
