royal gold-3 by Sally Ann Moss combines a broad pale yellow area with dark, loosely rectangular marks toward the lower right. Fine plant-like stems rise through the black section, while vertical and horizontal streaks give the pale background a layered, weathered-looking appearance.
The contrast between the airy upper left and denser lower forms creates an asymmetrical balance. Small botanical lines bring a delicate detail into the otherwise broad, brush-like arrangement.
