Traffic Light II by Wim Schuurmans sets a curved traffic-light support against a tall, repeating building facade. The small red signal stands out within the predominantly monochrome scene, giving the architectural pattern a clear focal point.
Vertical windows and narrow strips of light create a measured rhythm behind the curved pole. Deep shadows simplify the city detail into lines and surfaces, blending an everyday urban subject with an abstract graphic quality.
